Spy Quilt #6

Hi all, hope all of my Graceful Quilting friends will find me on this blog. We could make this a group blog. So if anyone is interested I will look into how that works. Then we could all post and add pictures of our quilts etc. Now to email you all and see if anyone starts reading this blog.

Hi, I just finished hand sewing the bindings onto the Red, White and Blue Scrap quilt and the Bright Cracked Pots. The pictures are of the front and back of the RW and B. And Zelda too.

I did the hand stitching while watching episodes 3 and 4 of Pacific. Excellent.

Cracked Pots

Finished the houses--hurray! This is a pattern-Cracked Pots- from Miss Rosies. I will try to post a link. It was one of the best patterns I have ever followed. Very well done and easy to understand. Here is a picture without the binding finished.

Hi, well just did not get to those houses yet. Wish I had a following so someone could get me started. I meandered the red, white and blue scrap and applied the binding. Today, off to a visit to Donna, our custom machine quilter, with Patty, another Graceful Quilter. She has her sampler quilt and Sean and Prarie's wedding quilt ready for Donna's beautiful quilting. And I will try to work on those houses. Picture to follow!!

Today I am working on the Cracked Pots bright quilt. Going to be adding some free motion quilting to the houses in the house border plus finishing the "in the ditch" quilting on the outer border. Picture will follow soon. Also may meander the red, white and blue scrap quilt. Picture will follow that one too. Attached the border to the Lutheran World Relief quilt (Pink and blue)yesterday and will store upstairs until next fall and then shipped off to LWR with the others. More info on those quilts etc later.
